Oxford, UK – 10th January 2018 – OxSonics Limited, a world leader in the development of ultrasound-based drug delivery systems for the treatment of cancer patients, today reported that a paper entitled “Ultrasound-mediated cavitation does not decrease the activity of small molecule, antibody or viral-based medicines” was published in the International Journal of Nanomedicine. The publication evidences the fact that ultrasound parameters used to safely and successfully deliver small molecule, antibody and viral-based oncology agents to tumors in preclinical models do not detrimentally impact on the structure or activity of these medicines.
